May 19, 2025by Ranger Tom0
The Friends of Katahdin Woods and Waters have released their “Leap into Spring” March eNewsletter, bidding farewell to winter and welcoming the upcoming spring season. The newsletter highlights the melting snow that is saturating the ground and streaming into tributaries, brooks, and rivers. The scenery is described as resembling frothy hot cocoa, a poetic comparison to the muddy conditions often associated with the season.
