The work involves a variety of tasks, including clearing debris from the paths, repairing damaged sections of the trails, and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the park. The aim is to ensure that the park remains a welcoming and safe environment for all visitors.

By volunteering, individuals not only contribute to the preservation of the park, but also get a chance to experience the natural beauty of Acadia firsthand. The Friends of Acadia organization greatly appreciates the efforts of these volunteers, acknowledging their role in maintaining the park’s reputation as a pristine and enjoyable outdoor space.
