The Friends of Katahdin Woods & Waters have announced the return of the “Stars Over Katahdin” event on Saturday, September 27th, 2025. The event is a celebration of the dark skies over Katahdin, regarded as some of the darkest east of the Mississippi. The announcement was made by the organization’s Executive Director, Brian Hinrichs.
