Despite the challenges of the past year, the Friends of Katahdin Woods and Waters, a nonprofit organization, has expressed gratitude for the consistent support from its members, donors, supporting partners, and the community. As the year comes to an end, the organization’s staff has been overwhelmed by the flood of financial contributions, demonstrating the community’s love for the place.
